As precision medicine continues to transform clinical practice, integrating genomics into medical education has become essential. Despite its significant clinical relevance and potential to personalize care, genomics remains underrepresented in health professions curricula worldwide. To address this gap, leading institutions have initiated pioneering reforms aimed at preparing future clinicians for genomics-informed care. Effective integration requires longitudinal, interdisciplinary, and ethically grounded training, supported by faculty development and real-world applications. As genomic data becomes increasingly central to diagnosis and treatment, embedding these concepts into medical education is critical to cultivating a competent and forward-thinking healthcare workforce.
