About the Journal

Journal of Lahore Medical & Dental College is the official Medical Research Journal of Lahore Medical & Dental College, Lahore https://www.lmdc.edu.pk/ since January, 2024.

We welcome the submission of research articles from undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as young scholars, for potential publication. It is important that all submitted articles adhere to the guidelines set forth by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). These guidelines can be assessed on website  https://icmje.org/recommendations/

To have your articles considered for publication in JLMDC, please utilize the online submission system provided by the editors of JLMDC. To facilitate this process, it is essential that both authors and peer reviewers complete a registration process, creating personal accounts for article submission and peer review participation. Before initiating research studies, authors are required to obtain an approval certificate from the Ethical Review Committee of their institution.

Adherence to the provided "Instructions to Authors" is crucial. Additionally, each manuscript submission must include a "Letter of Undertaking," signed by all authors, confirming that the manuscript has not been previously published and has not been concurrently submitted to any other journals for publication.

Aims and Scope

Authors are invited to submit articles for publication, reporting original work in Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Health administration, Biological Sciences, Medical education, and Allied Health Sciences. Other regular features within the journal include systematic review articles, case reports, short communication, and letters to the editor. Editorial articles are by invitation only. However, those received and found to be of an outstanding nature will be considered for publication. 
All articles are copyedited professionally and typeset to ensure quality. Articles published in JLMDC are immediately made freely and permanently accessible online without any cost to readers.
